How the Nestainer Storage System Works
The patented inverted angle feature is the one basic structural concept that makes the free-standing Nestainer THE portable storage rack system to replace all others.
Complete flexibility is the result of this inverted angle and free-standing design. Nestainers can be used either as a fixed or portable rack system. They can be stacked up to maximize your air space. Nestainers can be stacked back to back, side to side, at any angle, in any configuration you require, helping your to maximize valuable floor space. They can be moved between loaded or empty areas. Patented inverted angle construction leaves Nestainer sides, tops, and fronts, open for fast, easy removal or merchandise from anywhere.
When not in use, Nestainer's front-end nesting increases empty rack handling and efficiency. Rack nests can be easily handled with a lift truck or motorized pallet jack.

housing for stored materials, moving with the products from location to location.
4. Maximum product protection from production
line to warehouse to shipping area to customer - The heavy-duty welded steel Nestainer rack protects its contents on the floor or
over the road, simplifying material handling requirements.
5. Reconvert storage space back into valuable floor space when
system is not in use - Empty Nestainers can be nested without disassembly, in a 10:1 ratio. These nested units remain completely
portable, maximizing flexibility.
6. Eliminate permanent storage racks, wooden skids and expensive hardware - Nestainer
can be utilized in stationary arrangements, or in temporary locations, eliminating permanent, non-flexible systems.
